Mark Burnham is a local artist who's passion is capturing beautiful contemplative images. His career as a photographer began during his youth on road trips with his family.
Early on, with encouragement from a professional photographer at the age of 12, Mark pursued photography at North Park High School and at Conestoga College.
Traveling to exotic places such as Africa, Asia, Europe, the Arctic, and our own beautiful North America, Mark will wait tirelessly for the perfect time of day and light in order to capture the best shots. Getting up before sunrise to get that clear low light, or hanging out at sunset gives dramatic light to a photograph.
Mark uses both 35mm & Medium Format cameras. From film to digital he has gone through the transformation of the photographic industry's shift to digital. Although Mark loved using film, in keeping with the 'digital age' his new favorite camera is the Hasselblad H3D which he says gives you an amazing High Resolution capture.
Mark currently works as a busy commercial photographer in the advertising industry. Traveling whenever time permits, Mark is in continual pursuit of the perfect photograph.
